URGENT Announcement from Connie Wenner, Director, Council for the Arts

Everyone, the new roof that they are putting on has hit snags, seems the “Leak proof membrane” is not so leak proof after all!. The gallery room, that connects to the other side of our building has sprung a leak or 3, also the hallway next to kitchen has a spot. So, I cancelled the Saturday’s writer’s workshop, since I don’t know if anymore spots are going to show up. I called all the art teachers to collect there student’s work, I’d hate to see any get damaged. I cancelled the Onslow Art Society’s Spring show until May, since the roofers will not be back until the 5th of April, I will not take a chance. That means the CCCC art show (scheduled for May) has been cancelled for this year. We will overcome this too!!!!!!

So as it stands no show here for the month of April.
